In over 30 years of working with small business owners all over the world, I have helped many people start their own business.
There is a process that you take – a formula that if you followed in precisely the same way, you will find a pain-free way of starting your own business and growing from there.
However, what many people don’t realise until they work with me, is that the first part of that process, the first ingredient in cooking this new business – is you!
Are you ready?
I don’t mean “are you determined?” In fact, I’m sure you are. It takes some guts and determination and real desire to move from a comfortable paid employment position to put it all out there are investing in your own vision.
You may have decided that you have a great business idea, or that you will be better at using your expert skills in your own business than working for someone else, or you want independence and lifestyle. However, whatever your reasons, one thing you probably haven’t asked yourself is just what it takes to start your own business, and ti run it day after day and year after year.
It is important that you know what this might involve, and what kind of impact this will have on your family and lifestyle so that you can be prepared and work it out accordingly.
